This privacy policy applies to the Number Baseball app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Collet (collectively, the "Application"). Collet is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".
Number Baseball is a single-player number-guessing game (also known as Bulls and Cows) played entirely offline on your device. The Service Provider has designed the Application to keep your gameplay private.
Information You Generate Stays on Your Device
The information the Application creates while you play — including game statistics (games played, wins, losses, win rate, streaks), achievement progress, difficulty preferences, and your sound and haptic settings — is stored locally on your device only. The Service Provider does not collect, transmit, sell, or have access to this data. It is not uploaded to any server. Uninstalling the Application, or clearing its data through your device settings, permanently removes this information from your device.
Information Collected by Third-Party Advertising
The Application displays advertisements through Google AdMob, including interstitial and rewarded ad formats. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect information automatically, which may include:
- Your device's advertising identifier and Internet Protocol (IP) address
- General device information, such as the mobile operating system and device type
- Approximate (non-precise) location derived from your IP address
- Interaction data related to the advertisements shown
This information is collected and processed by Google in accordance with its own privacy policy. The Service Provider does not receive your individual gameplay data through this process; ad-related data is handled by Google as an independent service.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Application or its third-party SDKs (such as Google AdMob) may use cookies, SDKs, advertising identifiers, and similar technologies to support functionality, analytics, or ad delivery. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies, and you can reset or limit ad tracking through your device's privacy settings.
Your Rights
Because the gameplay information the Application creates is stored only on your device, you can access, correct, or delete it directly within the Application (for example, by resetting your statistics) or by clearing the app's data. For any personal data that may be processed through third-party advertising services, you may request access, correction, or deletion, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, by contacting the Service Provider at bloodturtle@naver.com.
Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise your CCPA/CPRA rights, contact the Service Provider at bloodturtle@naver.com.
Third Party Access
The Service Provider does not transmit your gameplay data to external services. Only data collected by third-party advertising services, as described above, is processed by those providers. The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own privacy policy regarding the handling of data. Below is the link to the privacy policy of the third-party service provider used by the Application:
The Service Provider may disclose information:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- with their trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
International Data Transfers
The third-party advertising service used by the Application may transfer data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, appropriate mechanisms will be used:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
- Adequacy decisions or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms
- Your consent, where required and legally permitted
Data protection laws in other countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, the Service Provider will apply appropriate safeguards and obtain any consent required for the transfer.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop the local storage of your gameplay data by uninstalling the Application, which removes the data held on your device. To limit ad personalization, you can reset or opt out of your device's advertising identifier through your device's privacy settings. To request any action regarding data that may be processed through advertising services, or to withdraw consent, contact the Service Provider at bloodturtle@naver.com.
Data Retention Policy
- Data the Application stores on your device (statistics, achievements, settings): Stored on your device only, for as long as the Application is installed or until you delete it. The Service Provider does not retain a copy.
- Advertising data collected by third parties: Retained and processed by Google AdMob in accordance with its own retention practices and privacy policy.
- Aggregated and Anonymized Data: May be retained indefinitely as it no longer identifies you.
- Data required for legal compliance: Retained as long as required by applicable law.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under 16 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from children or market the Application to them.
Where parental or guardian consent is required under applicable law, the Application is not intended for use without that consent. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16 years of age in violation of applicable law. In the event the Service Provider discovers that a child has provided personal information, the Service Provider will take steps to delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider (bloodturtle@naver.com) so that the necessary actions can be taken.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Because your gameplay data remains on your device, its security also depends on the protections you apply to your device, such as a screen lock and operating-system updates. The Service Provider provides appropriate safeguards for any information it processes.
Data Breach Notification
If a data breach occurs that affects personal data processed by the Service Provider, the Service Provider will notify affected users in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including, where required, providing information about the nature of the breach and the steps being taken to address it.
Changes
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy with an effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect.
Previous versions of this Privacy Policy will be maintained and made available upon request by contacting the Service Provider at bloodturtle@naver.com.
Your Consent
Where processing is based on consent, you provide that consent by affirmatively opting in to the relevant feature or action. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Processing based on other lawful bases is carried out as described above.
